During the 2008 Presidential Election, Free & Equal debuted with a Presidential Debate at the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel in Washington, DC. the much anticipated debate was moderated by Pulitzer prize winning journalist Chris Hedges and featured an interesting debate featuring viewpoints outside of the two party system.
