Both Johnson and Stein were given a platform for their positions in 2012’s open debates hosted by Free & Equal and moderated by Larry King. The open debates were broadcast worldwide on C-SPAN and online with an estimated viewing audience of 20 million. Christina Tobin, Founder of the Free & Equal Elections Foundation said, “The United We Stand Fest will be the kick-off event for igniting the grassroots movement to break the stranglehold of the two-party duopoly and reform the electoral process throughout the U.S. once and for all.”
Other notable speakers likely to appear at this fall’s event include, media personalities Ben Swann and Josh Tolley, Emmy Award-winning whistle-blower and former CNN reporter Amber Lyon, President of Gun Owners of America Larry Pratt, comedian Elizabeth Imus-Zero, Dan Johnson, 19 year-old Founder of People Against the National Defense Authorization Act (PANDAA), Sheriff Richard Mack, and more.
